Colin Laitner
Developer - General Counsel
Notable projects include Sheldon Cove in North-Central Austin, which features the Mesa Rim Climbing Center—Texas’ largest climbing gym. Colin is licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission and has personally overseen over $250 million in transactions. His deep expertise encompasses real estate, corporate structuring, finance, and tax.
Jason Cormier
Developer - Associate
Jason Cormier, a Development Associate with Metis Capital since 2016, manages commercial leasing and tenant build-outs at Sheldon Cove in Austin, Texas, Metis’s largest commercial project. He also oversees the residential portfolio, including acquisition, planning, construction, marketing, leasing, and asset management. A native of Austin, Jason holds a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University, where he was an LSU Tiger Football team member, and an MBA in Accounting from LSUS. Dedicated to community involvement, he mentors local youth, has coached football at Austin Achieve Middle School, and serves on the board of the LSU Alumni Austin chapter.
Adrianne Le
Business Manager
Adrianne Le has over 15 years of Business Administration experience across finance, medical, and retail industries. As the Business Manager of Metis Capital LLC, she leverages her broad expertise to oversee operations and support the company’s objectives. Based in Austin, Texas, Adrianne is an avid learner with a particular interest in cat trivia.
Zachary Scott
In House Counsel
Zachary brings a deep passion for real estate and a proven history of success to Metis Capital. His extensive experience, gained during his tenure at Polsinelli PC and Greenberg Traurig LLP, includes representing clients in a variety of complex real estate transactions. Zachary has negotiated joint venture agreements, membership interest purchase agreements, operating agreements, and the formation of corporate entities. He has also managed the acquisition and disposition of diverse property types, including office buildings, apartment complexes, self-storage facilities, medical offices, industrial warehouses, commercial retail centers, and more. In addition, Zachary has significant expertise in financing structures, including bridge loans, construction and project financing, subordinated and mezzanine financings, revolving credit lines, balance sheet loans, syndicated loans, and conduit loans. His comprehensive background enables him to navigate intricate real estate and financial matters with precision and professionalism.
